Zhang Keke, Associate Vice President of Macao University of Science and Technology and Dean of Macao Institute of Space Technology and Application (M.I.S.T.A) believes that as one of the few low-altitude launch sites in the world, Wenchang Hainan, which benefits from the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port, enjoys unique advantages for the development of the aerospace industry. “The low-altitude economy can solve a host of development problems. Hainan’s low latitude gives it advantages that high-latitude sites do not have.” Zhang believes that Hainan’s aerospace economic development shows great potential.
