As the guest country of the 4th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE, also known as the Hainan Expo), the Irish National Pavilion will showcase the country's development achievements in beverages, food, fashion, and other fields. Ireland is also working with the organizing committee to launch a limited edition Hainan Expo mascot image and related products.

The Irish National Pavilion, located in Hall 4 of the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center, covers an area of 500 square meters. It is jointly organized by the Embassy of Ireland in China and four national institutions - Bord Bia (the Irish Food Board), Enterprise Ireland, Industrial Development Agency Ireland (IDA Ireland), and Tourism Ireland.

The Irish Pavilion will showcase Ireland's national image and industry strength through beverages, food, fashion, agricultural technology, life sciences, premium consumer products, high-tech innovation, education, investment, tourism, and unique cultural experiences.

The Ireland Pavilion will host representatives from 29 Irish companies and organizations, showcasing over 200 exhibits from more than 50 Irish brands. At the new product launch event of this year's Hainan Expo, five Irish institutions and companies will be showcasing their latest products, some of which are on the market for the first time in China and even the world.

The exhibition hall design highlights the unique features of Ireland, showcasing a collection of traditional castle architecture, Irish whiskey & beverages, a market & barn, a hi-tech, investment & education exhibit, golf experience zones, and a fashion & cultural gallery. The central stage of the exhibition hall will also feature performances of authentic Irish step-dance.

Meanwhile, Ireland also launched a limited-edition Expo mascot themed around the  Irish sport of hurling, with the energetic Hainan Gibbon mascots "Yuanyuan" and "Xiaoxiao" appearing in green hurling uniforms.
