Taking place from the 13th to the 18th of April, in addition to the main venue, there will be smaller events taking place island-wide. These primarily include three sub-venues for duty-free shopping, sailing and yachting, and international health consumption in the CDF Haikou International Duty Free City, at the Haikou National Sailing Base Public Wharf, and at Hainan Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone.
As this year's first major international exhibition in China and the largest consumer boutique exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region, the overall scale of this year's Expo is at a new and historical high. Total indoor exhibition area (divided into theme exhibition areas including “Digital Consumption & Professional Services,” “Jewellery E-Commerce & Duty Free,” “Food, Supplements & Beverage,” “Country & Region Comprehensive Pavilions,” “Fashion Lifestyle,” and “Domestic Brands Zone”) is 128,000m²; more than 4,000 brands from 71 countries and regions are participating; and 55,000 professionals and buyers are expected to show up.
