Standing on the beach at Riyue Bay, you can see wave upon wave hasten their march towards the shore. It was a rainy day, but the weather didn't dampen the moods of crowds of surfers on their surfboards, bobbing up and down with the waves, chasing away the gloom with their laughter and fun. This was the scene that greeted Italian photographer Fabio Nodari, who came to Riyue Bay in Wanning to experience China's top surfing destination.

Riyue Bay lies a few kilometers north of the invisible line that divides the tropics from the subtropics and has a tropical marine monsoon climate, boasting plenty of sunshine, a pleasant climate, and abundant rainfall. This climate ensures the seawater remains clear and at a balmy annual average temperature of 24-28℃, allowing surfers to chase waves in nothing more than shorts, even in winter. With broad, powerful waves that boast an average annual height of 1 to 2 meters, Riyue Bay is a natural surfing destination.

"The MBTI test reveals that I am probably an E. E-types always open to something new and exciting. What could be better than coming here to Riyue Bay in Wanning to try surfing?" After arriving at Riyue Bay, Fabio took in the view of the colorful surfboards, the waves crashing into the shore, and the surfers skimming the water's surface on their delicate foam boards like dancers. The scene piqued Fabio's interest and eagerness to dive right in.

After patiently listening to the surfing instructor's guidance and demonstration and making precautionary preparations, Fabio took his surfboard into the waves to try out surfing for himself.

"I managed to stand up on my first time surfing. It was so much fun!" Like many first-time surfers, Fabio failed to stand up on the surfboard the first time around, but he persevered, and after several attempts, he finally managed it. Although it was only for a few seconds, he was able to experience the feeling of "dancing" on the waves.
