At Qiongzhong Green Orange Plantation, Harvey and his friends challenged each other to compare the sweetness of green oranges, gleefully confirming their results using specialized equipment. The sweetness of this variety of orange typically measures around 10-11 Bx, with some reaching as high as 15-16 Bx. In addition to its tangy sweetness, this fruit is rich in pectin and nutrients such as vitamins B1, B2, and C. Its flesh is juicy and plump and, when juiced, produces a fine pulp. 

The green oranges that grow here under entirely natural conditions have thin peels, fine, juicy flesh, and a refreshing texture. “I never imagined that green oranges could be so sweet and delicious. When I first saw them, I thought that green peel meant they weren’t ripe and would taste astringent,” said Harvey.
