Recently, the ‘We’re in This Together, Mutual Sharing of Cultures’ activity, funded by the China Internet Development Foundation and the China Positive Energy Internet Promotion Fund and jointly organized by Hinews and the Hainan International Media Center, has attracted quite a bit of attention. Popular Italian content creator Yasmin Von Roon has fallen in love with Hainan’s stunningly scenic islands, and can’t bear to leave. The photos and videos she has shared on Instagram have been a huge hit, attracting comment after comment expressing a desire to visit the tropical southern Chinese province.

Yasmin visited many parts of Hainan, making unforgettable memories. The scenic blue and white buildings and tranquil, brightly lit ambiance of Sanya’s Tianya Town made a deep impression, and the Bird’s Nest Resort and Dragon Bridge at Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Rainforest Park amazed her. Yanoda Tropical Rainforest Park made her feel alive, while Baoting’s Shenyu Island took her on a journey through both time and Chinese traditional culture.

The place that thrilled Yasmin the most, however, was Boundary Island, Lingshui. This idyllic isle off the southeast coast of Hainan made her want to stay forever, and she even changed the date of her return ticket so that she could linger longer. She shared four Hainan videos on Instagram, with the two Boundary Island videos getting over one million combined total views. Comments expressing interest in this mysterious island poured in, calling it heaven on earth, wanting to know exactly where it was, and adding it to their bucket lists. Some extremely excited fans even started looking for tickets to China immediately!

Yasmin doesn’t just make videos about Hainan’s beautiful scenery, she also shares about the island’s food culture. She has especially fallen in love with Qingbuling, and made a point of looking up the history of the dessert. telling her fans the story behind the dish. “I feel reborn after this trip,” she gushed. “I don’t want to leave this place, I swear!”
