From March 25 to 28, the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2025 is being held in Boao, Hainan. During the event, the Chinese-English comic booklet "Winning in the FTP: Stories of Hainan's Business Environment Construction" made its debut. Jointly compiled by Hainan Daily and the Hainan Provincial Department of Business Environment Construction under the guidance of the Hainan Provincial Publicity Department, the booklet has garnered praise from attendees and media representatives.

Since May 2022, Hainan Daily and the Hainan Provincial Department of Business Environment Construction have collaborated to launch the "Winning in the FTP: Stories of Hainan's Business Environment Construction" special column. Using comic strips, the column vividly portrays success stories of Hainan's business environment improvements. To date, over 100 issues have been published.

50 of the best issues were selected organized into five sections:

1. Simplifying Procedures

2. Improving Services

3. Solving Problems

4. Reforming and Innovating

5. Local Solutions

With added English translations, the booklet aims to provide domestic and international investors a "one-stop" resource to understand Hainan's progress, achievements, and future plans in business environment development, thereby boosting investment confidence and expectations.

During the conference, copies of booklet has been available to take for free at the conference news center and sub-forum venues, with many attendees picking up a copy as they passed by.

"This compilation has shattered my stereotypes about policy guides!" exclaimed Anastasia Chernetskaya, a representative from the Roscongress International, pointing to a comic about business registration. "The visual design illustrates complex approval processes in crystal-clear detail." Guilherme Paladino from Brazil247.com praised the case studies on corporate services: "It helps media professionals like me grasp official terminology effortlessly." Dr. Samir Hamrouni, CEO of the World Free Zones Organization, added: "This is the best gift from Hainan."
