On the afternoon of April 13, Haikout hosted the launch ceremony for the “Hainan's Free Trade Momentum” international communications interview event and a briefing on the Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP), aiming to show the world the innovative exploration and fruitful results of the construction of the Hainan FTP, and convey the vitality of the Chinese economy. Participating outlets included the People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, China Media Group, and international media centers from Chongqing, Guangdong, Hainan, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Sichuan, and Yunnan.

From April 13th to the 17th, teams of reporters will get a hands-on feel for the vitality of the Hainan FTP by visiting places such as Haikou, Lingshui, Qionghai, Sanya, and Wenchang; and by making interviews and reports on important events such as the 5th China International Consumer Products Expo and the Invest in China · 2025 Global Industrial Investment Promotion Conference for the Hainan FTP.

Members of the interview team have high expectations for this activity. “The 12 carefully planned locations for this event, are like 12 windows, allowing everyone to observe the ‘panoramic puzzle’ of the construction of the FTP up close. At the same time, we are always thinking about how to use our own personal perspectives. Taking our trips around the island as a starting point, we want to tell well the stories of the development of the FTP,” said He Zhuoyan (Sichuan International Communication Center).
